Hallelujah English Ministry

HEM began in December 1985, Hallelujah Church then located in Seoul, as an English-language worship service for the increasing numbers of English-speaking foreigners coming to Korea in anticipation of the 1988 Seoul Olympics.

HEM seeks to be a community of worshipers that loves the Lord, serves His church, and cares for the world.

HEM Lead Pastor

Pastor Steve Chang has been leading HEM since April 2002. He is a Korean-American who grew up in the Baltimore, Maryland area, and came to Korea in 2001 to teach at Torch Trinity Graduate School of Theology in Seoul. He is married to Lisa and has two children, Hope and Paul.
